Rock of Love themed party?

ITs my friends 30th this weekend and last minute I was asked to do the decor & cake. We are having the party at a local restaurant that has karakoke and the theme is rock of love..... I have never seen the show.

What are the theme colors for the show?

What would be a cute cake decoration?

What color balloons?

The balloons should be this color and I think a cute cake decoration would be your friend and Bret Michaels on the cake. You can go to any Carvel/Baskin Robbins and they will take any picture (actual photo or printed out on paper from computer) and put it on the cake.

'Rock of Love' was a reality show with Poison lead singer, Brett Michaels, trying to find true love.  During both seasons it was staged at a rented mansion somewhere in the Hollywood Hills and there were at least 20 girls vying for his affections.  He held ridiculous contests for each girl to compete in, including a mudbowl, x-rated peep shows, pole dancing, etc.  The primary colors were black, red, and silver if I remember correctly.  Not to mention Brett's paisley head bands.  You might want to go online to vhi.com and take a look at some of the clips.  If the party is for a Brett Michaels devotee, then you can get memorabilia from his website to use as decorations too.  A cake in the shape of an electric guitar would be fun.  Don't forget the Poison cd's as background music.  Balloons in black, red and gunmetal silver would be great.  Since Brett is diabetic, healthy foods are a must.....and lots of beer!

Rock of Love is a rose quartz crystal, it is absolutely beautiful. Shades of pink that are crystal.

If I went with the rose quartz as the center of decoration I would use shades of pink and for the cake - I would go with white and have shades of pink sugar crystals forming a heart. To offset all the different shades of pink I would use white.

You wouldn't actually have to acquire the stone/crystal - rose quartz. Just use it's colors and energy - afterall it is the Love Stone.

The theme color would have to be red and black, the cake should have a heart witha knife going through it (1 if its rock of love 1 and 2 if its rock of love 2) and the ballons should be red and black
