I'm searching for rock songs about baby boys...making a slide show for my son's first bday party, but all the songs I love are country and my husband is a big rock/classic rock/punk/metal fan...any ideas

( with no vulgar language please)?

  1. Rock you like a Hurricane, Scorpions.  lol.

I have 2 year old twin boys...they rock me like a hurricane!  Like a hurricane hit the living room!

    Seriously..how about these ones...

    Zoe Jane by Staind

Landing in London by Three Doors Down

    Secret Smile by Semisonic

Just Like Heaven by The Cure

    With You by Linkin Park

Deep Inside of You by 3rd Eye Blind

    Somnanbulist by BT

    Lightening Crashes - Live

    Arms Wide Open - Creed

    Hope this helps

  2. Well.... this isn't exactly about baby boys..... but a great old classic rock song that totally fits a slide show...... I actually already have a slide show in progress with this song......

    Kodachrome  - By Paul Simon

I have some pictures of my son with this little play camera........  that I am dotting in with all the other pictures......   Then there is a part in the song that says when I take all the girls I met when I was single.... I have a picture of my son being kissed by two of my friends daughter..... its soo cute.......  and then it says in the song everything looks worse in black and white..... I put a picture of my son screaming and changed it to black and white....... there is a lot to do with this song........ my slide show is coming along awesome!

  3. Beautiful Boy by John Lennon

  4. How about "With Arms Wide Open" by Creed?  I don't think it's specific to a baby boy, but it's definitely about welcoming a new baby, and it's a great song.

  5. Simple Man by Lynard Skynard is the ultimate mother/son rock song!

  6. How about Guns N Roses "Sweet child O' Mine"

Also Marvin Gaye has a song called "Pride and Joy"

Also my husband is a huge metal/rock fan and I just got rock songs made into lullabies from this great website called Babies Rawk.  It is pretty cool.  They are the songs that my husband loves, but made into lullabies.  It is hillarious.
