Rockburst Pearl to trounce Newinn Rocket in Ladbrokes.com 480 Div 1 at Monmore
Rockburst Pearl battled on well to make a successful reappearance at the start of October. Having tasted a sweet victory on her return from a layoff of more than three months, the black b***h looks good to offer more, and should be backed in the Ladbrokes.com
480 Div 1, taking place at Monmore on Saturday, October 13, 2012.
The skilful b***h went on a vacation after registering a comprehensive win here in June. Although the daughter of Head Bound got crowded in the beginning of a 480 metres contest, she recovered well to capture the first rank easily by one and a half lengths.
She displayed an equally fascinating show last week. Hove’s audience saw her establishing dominance soon after the start. By virtue of an early pace, M. Dartnall’s charge put the rest under tremendous pressure. It was not a straightforward win though.
Ceroc Shaneboy gave her plenty of tough time in the middle. Rockburst Pearl, however, managed things well to come out on top by a neck’s distance. She is due to initiate her run from the first trap, and has a great chance of adding another win to her tally.
Among her opponents are: Newinn Rocket, Aero Tobias, Shaneboy Charlie, Castlebride Dan and Droopys Chase. The 480 metres flat race is scheduled to get underway at 19:42 GMT. The winner of this meeting will receive a prize of 150 pounds.
Newinn Rocket is the one to look out for. The black dog tasted big success in the Puppy Derby, and holds the potential to be good in any situation. P. Rosney’s charge is fully prepared, as his previous five solo outings went well.
Droopys Chase tends to find things demanding in this company. Castlebride Dan appears to have gone off the boil. Aero Tobias has shown a fair turn of early pace, but a flawless act is required today. Shaneboy Charlie has arrived here in fine fettle, but
this is more demanding.
No doubt, the real clash is between Newinn Rocket and Rockburst Pearl. The latter deserves preference, because he has a fresh strike under his belt. Good luck to all the hounds.
