But your cute little greater than lesser than chart really doesn't apply (it's wrong in quite a few places anyway), because it just so happens that basketball isn't seven separate games of one on one. It's a five man team sport.

Besides, T-Mac's back will get tweaked if not totally give out during the season. Yao's playing in the Olympics while recovering from a ankle injury. He'll be going into training camp still winded. More likely than not he'll burn out during the season. So I'll be shocked if T-Mac and Yao play seventy or more games together. And their latest acquisition could end up in jail for all we know.

The Lakers on the other hand, won the west WITHOUT Bynum for a third of the season. Think of what they'll do with him.

despite being a warrior fan, i still think the lakers are better, theyre also the healthier team. you cant count on yao and tmac to stay healthy all year long. theyre very injury prone. the lakers stay healthy most of the time. bynum had 1 injured year last year. the rockets have improved but theyre still behind the lakers and jazz.
