Rocky Marciano VS Larry Holmes in a trilogy Who Wins?

Who would you guys favor to come out on top if both men fought each other in there primes.

yea rocky then is only like the size of a short cruiserweight now. id be very tough for rocky. its still a could go either way. my heart says rocky but my brain says larry.

Got to agree with the Big Bopper,Holmes nor any other heavy has faced such a relentless and cast iron Rocky Marciano,the only problem here is were talkin of a cruiserweight v heavyweight,but lets say all things equal in weight,the smaller Marciano would have crushed Holmes and got inside him like Tyson did and Rocky would have outmuscled and outpunched and caught Holmes often with Suzi Q,then Holmes sparked like with Mike Tyson did,only this time he'd not have got up from the first knockdown!.In all three fights Larry Holmes would'nt carry The Rocks jockstrap and Rocky ko late in fight,and the tree called Holmes lights out!!

marciano wins  all three, all by decision...if larry can survive shavers' bombs, he'll survive the rocks power punches and attacks.

Larry was simply too good of a defensive boxer to let a little guy beat him down.  Larry was much better than the Jersey Joe that had Rocky beat.  When and if Rocky lands that bout-winning right the anestitized Walcott?  Larry got up from Shavers best, the shot the blasted Walcott would not knock out the Easton Assassin.  Holmes wins all 3 by TKO on cuts.   The jab would cut him up too much, too often.  Rocky will have good moments, but otherwise lose to the better technician.

Rocky Wins.....his power punches would  have chopped down the big tree known as Holmes. A revealing fact re: the sparring sessions during the Ali/Rocky Computer Fight surfaced recently.----Rocky bought a wig to wear & while they were sparring Rocky was angered when Ali thought it funny to flick his jab on top of Rocky's head & knock the wig askew. The Rock warned Ali to stop & when Ali persisted.......an Old Rocky brought a young Ali to his knees with a single  body shot.

Holmes, 210, 6'3" 80" reach

I gotta go with Holmes every time, great jab with a huge reach advantage.
