Last night’s win against the Lorraine side was Marseille’s fifth consecutive win of the campaign which means that Les Phoceens have achieved their best start to a campaign in over 80 years. The achievement is certainly a significant one considering the fact
that everyone tipped the Canebiere club to be in for a hard time in the Championnat this season, especially after seeing the team flop so badly last season.
The club’s excellent start to the season has already been hailed by national and regional newspapers and fans are understandably ecstatic with the way things have panned out for their beloved club.
Keeping a cool head under such situations is certainly a difficult task especially if the goings have been tough for a long time. However, it is also equally important to keep one’s feet on the ground in order to avoid complacency.
