  1. I think Roddick and Stepanek do not have a history of quitting, unlike Djoko and Davydenko. I think the D's are on top of the list of quitters. Therefore, they (R&S) get a pass.

  2. I was just reading the article about this that was posted on Yahoo Sports and I thought, "Say what".

One of the things that was stated in the article was that some of the players feel the season is too long and I have to agree.  The season runs from the end of Dec/first part of Jan to around the middle of Oct.  That's about 9 months right there and that's not enough time for the body to heal from some of the injuries that these players get (my opinion only).

I think that these pullouts were legitimate.

I also think that they need to evaluate what to do about their seasons just like the WTA Tour has been trying to do the last few years.

  3. They are victims of the tight schedule.

  4. andy had a back injury, so his retirement is justificated. besides he withdraw from hambrug (shame!!!!)

stepanek it's not very clear what happend, aparently he had a stomachache, who knows.

  5. roddick pulled out in hamburg as well.. because of back injury..

stepanek retired because of fatigue... i dont know if he will play in hamburg..

  6. Djchokerquit?  haha..good one.  Maybe Roddick and Stephaek should change their names to Rodquit and Stepanquit too lol.
