  1. I read somewhere fairly recently that Richard Gasquet is considering skipping the French.  I didn't pick up on whether for sure he's going to skip it.  I know that the draw will be coming out soon.  I thought I heard on the 23rd but can't remember where.

  2. i hope noone else.

  3. I think Roddick's injury is a long time coming with the way he hits his serve.

I think this will be the first year that Nadal doesn't make the final and that maybe Davydenko or Ferrer will win it.  However, wouldn't it be awesome to see Guga or Coria make the semis?

  4. Hopefully nobody else. Roddick is already skipping the Olympics I can only hope he won't skip Wimbeldon. He's always played good on grass, and has been to the finals twice. But that shoulder probably does take a beating with that massive serve of his, roddick hits the ball incredibly hard. Roddick never has been good on clay, so really were not missing out on anything.

  5. Among the americans, who dont seem to fancy the clay courts of Paris, Davenport has also pulled out citing personal reasons as well as Meilen Tu and Meghann Shaugnessy. Im guessing the Americans are just not fit enought to compete in this difficult surface.

  6. Hope one of the top 8, then Stan would be ranked no. 8 in RG...Quarterfinal, GO STAN!!!!

  7. well sania mirza has

now andy roddick the french open is all open for anybody to win especially on the women side

  8. I don't imagine anyone else will pull out. In light of recent events Federer and Nadal are looking very good for Sunday.

  9. probably not anyone else important. i know gasquet has hinted at withdrawing but it isn't for certain. and really i dunno why he would though. he's not actually injured. it just screams pathetic to me and another attribute to his lack of mental strength. would be a shame for the no1 frenchman to withdraw and not have anything wrong physically......

**well, they just announced that lindsay davenport has withdrawn as if it's some big, shocking news *lol* i think we all knew she wouldn't and she said that she was skipping already. also, meghann shaughnessy and meilin tu. not big important factors.
