With summer reinforcements likely to push him even further towards the pecking order, it is a popular belief that Bellamy will scarper away from Anfield in the summer.

He also admitted that the player was passionate about making a contribution in the Reds 2012/13 campaign, and he will look to make the most out of his services.

ways.”
Liverpool signed the Welsh footballer as a free agent in August last year. His contract is set to expire by the end of the next term.
Earlier in the week, Bellamy was named in the Great Britain squad for the upcoming Olympic Games in London, and is expected to join the training camp in the coming days.
However, Rodgers indicated that he will keep in touch with him during the competition, along with his other players who are still on a break.
He further added that he shared his ideas with Bellamy as to how he plans on implementing his ideas at Anfield and received complimentary remarks in return.
