Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, has insisted that his side are not over-reliant on Luis Suarez, claiming that the striker just finishes of all the hard work done by the entire unit.
The Uruguayan International continued with his blistering form on Saturday, firing a brace in the Reds emphatic 3-0 win over Wigan Athletic at Anfield.

However, the forward has stepped up to the challenge, leading his side’s attack, netting 10 of the 17 goals that the team has scored so far in the league.
Although his mercurial presence in the frontline has also sparked the notion that the Reds have become a one-man army, Rodgers differed with this suggestion.
The former Swansea City boss insisted that Suarez would not have scored so many goals had it not been for the chances that his team-mates create for him. Nonetheless, he termed the forward as a world class player and admitted his important in the team.
“It’s not just Luis Suarez. Luis Suarez finishes off the great work,” he told the reporters.
“Lots of other teams have strikers that are the pinnacle and finish off a lot of good work. We’re very much a team and Luis is a very big part of that.”
Even though Suarez has stepped up to plate to fill the void in the attack, Rodgers has still got some big decisions to make in the January window.
It is widely believed that the Ulsterman will land in a couple of attackers to solve the club’s offensive problems.
Nonetheless, the manager confessed that he won’t get too much money from the owners for the transfer window, but will do his best to operate with whatever resources he has.
“We know it’s going to be very difficult this season in terms of transitioning the group but we’ll get some support in and the players that we’ve got we’ll work with them and see where it takes us,” he added.
