The former Swansea City boss has expressed delight at his side’s 2-3 win over West Ham United on Sunday, but has admitted that his troops can perform even better.

Although, the 39-year-old tactician was pleased with his side’s victory over the Hammers, he insisted that his troops are capable of performing even better.
The Reds are currently sitting 10th in the Premier League standings, a mammoth 17 points behind the table-toppers, Manchester United.
And the Irish trainer has admitted that the Reds have had an extremely difficult start to the 2012/13 campaign, but has also stressed that they will certainly start getting good results.
“We’re making steady progress in climbing the league and that’s important for us. It’s a very tight league this season. We’ve supposedly had an unbelievably bad season up until now, so once we really hit form we’ll be alright”, Rodgers was quoted as saying
to journalists in the post-match press conference.
The former Swansea City boss went on to reveal that he had belief in his troops ahead of his side’s clash against West Ham that they will create plenty of goalscoring opportunities.

and equally the fight in the team and that was very pleasing”, Rodgers concluded.
Liverpool will host Aston Villa at Anfield in their upcoming league game on December 15.
