Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers, has praised http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nuri-Sahin-c28251 for making a good start to his Anfield career, and feels that the Turkish International can take the central role in the team.
The 23-year old made his debut for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 in a 2-0 defeat at Anfield, after signing a season-long deal with the Merseyside outfit this summer.
He played for 67 minutes in the game, and was eventually replaced by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonjo-Shelvey-c19081.
The midfielder, who has already been tipped by many to become the next http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steven-Gerrard-c34196 in the heart of the field.
Despite seeing his side stumble to yet another defeat, the Northern Irishman was satisfied with Sahin’s performance. He underscored that the prolific schemer has started to gel well with the rest of the squad, and will have no problems in coming to grips
with his playing philosophy.
“He hasn't played a lot, Nuri, so to get 65 minutes was good for him,” he told the club’s official website.
“He showed he is an accomplished footballer and that he'll be able to fit in really well into our style. He's a good guy and as he gets fitter and stronger he'll become better.”

The defeat at the weekend left the Reds reeling at the 18th place in the current league standings. They have now bagged just a single point out of their first three league fixtures.
Nonetheless, the Ulsterman refused to be downbeat on their poor start to the campaign. Even though he admitted that his side needs to improve on their finishing, he felt that there were parts of the game in which they had dominated, and a hectic schedule
had also taken its toll on the players.
“For a lot of them, that was their third game [in a week] -- three tough games in Manchester City last week, Hearts and then this game. They'd put everything into it and I can't ask anymore from them,” he added.
Rodgers then went on to urge his team not to give away possession of the ball in a cheap manner, and felt that it was one of the factors behind their defeats to Gunners.
