in the game but some sensational defending from the away side’s back four denied the hosts the victory.
Brendan Rodgers admitted that his side is disappointed with the result considering the number of chances the players had to score. He stated that Liverpool deserved all three points from the game as they played extremely well.
However, the former Swansea City manager took nothing away from the away side and claimed that they were brilliant throughout the course of the game to make sure the hosts do not find the back of the net.
“We’re very frustrated that we didn’t get the three points. I thought we were more than deserving of it. We kept pushing from the very first minute. I thought our intent in the game was very good and some of our quality arrived
in good areas but you’ve got to give credit to West Ham. I thought they defended very, very well,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

“He’s a wonderful technician and I think everyone admires his humility, how hard he works for the team. He always wants the ball and is prepared to put his body on the line to work and fight,” the manager concluded.
