Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers, has revealed that he plans on strengthening his squad in January, following the Reds 0-0 draw at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
Although the draw stretched the Merseyside club’s recent unbeaten streak to eight matches, it kept them pitted at the bottom half of the table.

In order to bolster his attacking options and to shun the team’s over-reliance on the Uruguayan striker, the Anfield chief has revealed that he plans on landing in reinforcements during the January window.
The Ulsterman was confident that the arrival of a couple of new quality players will add further impetus to his reinvigoration process , and that the club were headed in the right direction.
“You can see that once we can get that quality in to support what we already have, we have enough to keep moving forward,” he told the reporters in an interview.
“We’ll look to do some business in January. The owners trust me to grow it over time.”
Rodgers, who returned to the Liberty Stadium for the first time since making a switch to Anfield this summer, received a warm reception from the Swansea City fans.
