Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has revealed that he may land new players at Anfield on loan before the transfer window closes this summer, but refused to divulge any specifics.

However, it is no hidden secret that the former Swansea City boss is seeking the signatures of more players, as he looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.
According to some reports, he is close to finalizing a deal for the Swans midfielder, Joe Allen and is also effectively monitoring Fulham’s Clint Dempsey’s situation.
The manager’s interest in landing a couple of new players at Anfield on permanent deals is quite manifest. However, Rodgers has gone on to reveal that he has not ruled out the option of exploring some of the players in the loan market, and hinted that the
Reds might witness a handful of additions in the squad within the next few days.
While talking to reporters, he said: “I'd be happy as long as we have some in before the end of August. I have also looked at one or two loan deals from abroad. There are some quality players in that market that I have enquired about and spoken to the European
managers on.”
Although the 39-year old admitted the importance of signing new players as soon as possible, in order for them to settle down at the new set up before the coming term, he insisted that he won’t rush into making decisions, and will look to go about things
in a patient manner.
Touching the subject of Daniel Agger’s absence from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Gomel-c39117 last week, Rodgers explained that the decision was taken keeping in view the defender’s fitness problems, and unravelled that he will feature in the Reds practice match
this weekend.
“We have a behind closed doors game for him this weekend to help his match fitness. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-c9879 is fit, but we have to make sure his physical condition is up to speed,” he added.
