Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers has admitted that he is working in close proximity with the owners over the subject of the Reds summer signings, but refused to reveal any specific targets.

However, a deadlock prevails at the moment between the two sides over the subject of his move, as the Welsh club are unwilling to let go of the 22-year
old.
With the situation at Anfield ripe with speculations, Rodgers conceded that the club’s transfer activities were in full throttle these days. However, the former Swansea City boss refused to unearth his potential targets. Instead, he claimed that he was working
closely alongside the members of Liverpool’s top hierarchy, and was hopeful of building a strong squad till the end of the transfer deadline.
While talking to reporters, he said: “I've got regular contact going with our American owners and, in particular, Mike Gordon from Fenway Sports Group. I always felt it was important by the beginning of the season we could have the squad we want - and certainly
by the end of the transfer window I would hope that will be the case.”
The 39-year old also pointed out that ever since he took over the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684, he has come across reports of scores of players being linked to a possible move to Anfield, but revealed that a majority of them were mere speculations.
Nevertheless, the Reds boss assured the fans that he was carrying out meetings with multiple targets, and was close to finalizing a deal or two in the upcoming days.
He added, “The message is there is a lot of work going on, on a number of deals and hopefully we can get those completed by the end of August.”
