Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers, was satisfied with his team’s goalless draw against Stoke City on Sunday at Anfield.
The Merseyside outfit failed to crack open a resolute Potters defence, despite continuously knocking the ball around the 18 yards box.
The result further prolonged the Reds wait to record their first league win at home this season, having failed to do so now in their four outings.
However, even though the Ulsterman was disappointed not to bag maximum points out of the game, he praised the overall display of his side.
He was particularly impressed with the way the youngsters handled the physical nature of the game.

“We're obviously disappointed we didn't win the game, I thought the attitude and the application of the players was terrific,” he told the reporters in an interview.
“We stood up to the real physicality of the game, which was a big plus.”

Earlier, Rodgers had said that the player’s bad reputation resulted in him being victimized by the match officials.
The former Swansea boss, however, once again spoke out in favour of Suarez.
He said that the media were always ready to drag the forward in the midst of controversies and hailed his performance on Sunday.
"I think whatever Luis does, there'll always be a problem. Whether it's media or referees. I thought he was terrific today some of combinations and movement. It [diving] gets brought up every week,” he added.
The manager then went on to say that he has no regrets of sending out Andy Carroll on a season-long loan to West Ham United this summer, and feels that they have got sufficient firepower in the squad to go on without him.
