Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers revealed that he carried out meetings with striker, Luis Suarez in order to discuss the option of him signing a new contract with the Merseyside club.

He also mentioned that the Uruguayan International offered him his full support, as he aims at introducing a Swansea-like playing style at Anfield.
The 25-year-old striker has remained in the midst of rumours for quite some time now, linking him with a move away from Anfield during the summer.
According to reports, clubs such as Juventus, AC Milan, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan and Paris Saint Germain are all interested in signing him during the transfer window, with some having even established links with the Reds to discuss the subject of his move.
Earlier, Suarez let out his ambition of serving out his lengthy contract with the Merseyside club, and stated that he has no plans whatsoever of slinging his hook from Anfield any time soon.

He told the club’s official website, “I have had a good conversation with Luis over the phone... There has been good dialogue (on a contract). I would hope going forward that we can close that out.”
Despite the fact that the Reds suffered one of their worst league campaigns in almost 50 years, they will take heart from the fact that Suarez remained in scintillating form throughout the season, as he netted 17 goals for Liverpool in all competitions.
The Northern Irishman revealed that he has been sharing text messages with the striker ever since he took over as manager of the club, and both of them exchanged views about the footballing philosophy that he was looking to implement.
He indicated that the Uruguayan International was really enthusiastic about embarking on a new journey under his management, and lauded the playing model that he developed at the Liberty Stadium.
“He has really bought into what we are trying to do. He was really excited about how we played at Swansea last year. He is really keen and looking forward to playing in a similar sort of model.”
