Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, has dismissed the rumours that he plans on signing a goalkeeper in January, claiming that he was satisfied with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pepe-c29670 Reina’s performance.
According to some speculations, the Anfield chief will look to acquire the services of the Birmingham City shot-stopper, Jack Butland, in the winter window. The Gunners want a seasoned campaigner to guard their goal and deem Reina to fit the billing.
However, the former Swansea City boss moved to dispel such surmises. He revealed that he would stick with the veteran Spaniard in front of goal and also had a wonderful backup in Brad Jones.
The 30-year old has had a difficult start to the season, committing a couple of costly errors. He then suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty, ruling him out of action for almost a month, before reclaiming his place from Jones last month.
“What is worth putting on record is that I'm not looking for another goalkeeper,” Rodgers told the reporters.

Rodgers also unearthed that any signings that he is going to make in January will be aimed at strengthening the other areas of their game.

Although the Ulsterman’s top priority this campaign is to help his side do well in the league, he mentioned that the team were desperate to do well in the second tier European competition and that they will it their all to progress as far as they can.
“It is very important for us. It is a competition we all want to do well in and we've never felt at any moment that we want to be out of it,” he added.
