Liverpool’s manager, Brendan Rodgers has gone on to state that he wouldn’t be surprised if Luis Suarez decided to leave http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, given the fact that the player has been given a massive ten game ban, which could be followed by further actions being taken
against the player.
At the moment, the player has gone on to accept the three game ban that he has been given. However, he has been given time to go on and contest against the extra seven game ban that has been imposed against him as well.
The player went on to bite Ivanovic in a game this past weekend, which has seen him get bombarded with negativity from just about everywhere in recent days.
Rodgers strongly feels that the FA might be going a little too far with the actions that they are taking against Suarez, since they feel that he doesn’t deserve all the stick that he is getting.
However, at the same time, he admitted that the striker could opt to leave http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 altogether, and if that was to happen, then he wouldn’t blame Suarez for his decision and choice to leave.
"I can understand if he felt he couldn't carry on in this country, if he felt like that in a moment of reflection," Rodgers told reporters.

"I know at this moment he's visibly very disappointed. I look in his face and for the first time since I arrived here I see a guy – a genuine guy – who is bitterly disappointed.”

"It was something he knows was clear, he knows what he did and he expected punishment, but he hoped he would be supported in a rehab process that allows him not to do it again.”

"So it will take time for him to come to terms and understand why he's been punished in this way.”

"That will make you think, no question. But in a couple of days' time when he is more reflective – because there’s a shock and anger at the moment – a sense of reality will set in.”
It is now going to be interesting to see just what Suarez does in the future, but it is also safe to say that his decision will be based on whether he is given an additional seven game ban or not.
