The Argentine international hopes that he will help the Nerazzurri kick-start a move back to the club’s former glory, and has stated that he is optimistic about his future.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rodrigo-c31437 Palacio has been presented to the media in his new Inter Milan shirt, and the striker expressed his high hopes for his future.
The Argentine attacker was signed by the Nerazzurri at the end of their dismal 2011-12 campaign from Genoa, in an effort by the club to revamp their squad for the next season.
The former Rossoblu player was also approached by the Milan giants a year ago, but the move could not be finalized.
Palacio was adamant that the one year delay is meaningless, and stated that he is happy to be at the Milan outfit finally, and will be focussing on the future rather than the past.
The former Boca Juniors-man went on to state that he is just getting to know the manager and the players, and expressed his delight at the warm welcome that he has received on his arrival at his new outfit.
The Argentine international was hopeful that his arrival will help the Nerazzurri to move in the right direction, and stated that he would love to finish the season with plenty of trophies.
Palacio went on to stress that he is taking one thing at a time, and insisted that the technical matters can wait their turn for discussion.
While talking to the press, the 30-year-old said:
“Nothing materialised last year, but the important thing is being here now. With Stramaccioni I just spoke, he welcomed me and for my teammates I will get to know them day by day. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 are a great team and we will fight on all fronts, we hope to celebrate
