Reports in French media suggest that ambitious French Ligue 1 outfit, Paris Saint-Germain are considering approaching Italian Serie A side AS Roma in order to find about the availability of Brazilian winger Rodrigo Taddei.
This winter, chances are that PSG would once again be very active in the transfer window. Despite to a start to the season that any side could be proud of, PSG sporting director http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-c22056 feels that the side is far from being a finished product and agrees
with the club’s owners who are willing to sanction big-money transfers in the upcoming transfer window.
The capital club is now looking for a winger and Leonardo sees Taddei as a valid option. The 31-year-old joined AS Roma from Siena in 2005 and since then, has made 179 appearances for the Lupi.
On June 7,2010, Taddei signed a contract extension with AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603. The new contract would keep him with the Roman giants until 2014 but the arrival of Argentine youngster Erick Lamela has risen doubts about the Brazilian’s future at the club.
While talking to the media, Taddei’s agent, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-c4710 Lucci said, “Is he going to go in January? It is too early to discuss his future. But one thing is certain. He has little space in the club while he is a player who can still give something to Roma.
He is sincere to Roma and is well physically. But by January, if the situation does not change, we will discuss his future with the club.”
The agent also revealed that PSG are not the only side interested in is services. Taddei visited Paris a few weeks back and Signor Lucci maintains that his player’s trip to Paris was for holiday and nothing more.
So far this season, new Roma manager Luis Enrique has used Taddei only twice which clearly means that the former Siena man is no more an integral member of the Roma starting XI like he used to.
A move to PSG would certainly be a good one for the Brazilian who will then have a chance to linkup with former Roma teammate http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jeremy-Menez-c18345.
