City took on Liverpool in the Premier League last night and following a tough battle between the two sides, the match ended in a two all draw.
Despite the draw, Rodwell is feeling a little optimistic and hopes for the team to pick up all three points from their next game.
The young http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 had a well thought out plan for the midfielder.
After starting the first game of the season, he went on to come off the bench in the match against Liverpool, as he replaces http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 on the one hour mark.
He told the club’s official website: "It was difficult to adapt to the new system but I think the lads did well.”
"In the first 30 minutes we dominated the game and we got back into it in the second half, so we have to take the positives from that."
Rodwell conceded one of the free kicks that led to a goal for Liverpool in the game. The youngster wasn’t too sure about how he handled the ball, but insisted that he would look at the replays just to confirm whether he handled the ball or not.
"I’m not sure, I just slid in and I know it hit my chest but I’ll have to watch the video.”

"I’m not sure we could have done anything about the free kick itself as it was a great strike but we’ll have to look to improve on it next time."
Nonetheless, following the draw City are going to be looking to bounce back from this draw, as they look to get back to their winning ways. It is now a wait to see how the team performs in their upcoming matches.
