Manchester City’s midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Rodwell-c17462 has gone on to dismiss all the rumours which claimed that the team’s youth system is flawed and that it is a waste for young players to join the Manchester based club.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adam-Johnson-c3537, a player who didn’t have a lot of success at City, went on to lash out at the club and their spending, while indicating that youngsters should avoid the club since it was a waste of time to move there.
However, Rodwell, who joined the team in the summer transfer window has gone on to oppose Johnson, and insisted that it is up to every player to make a name for themselves at the club, and not the other way round.
“I’m young and English. I’ve not got a bad word to say about City. If they want you and sign you, then they have got intent for you," he told reporters.
“I was not guaranteed a starting place at Everton. I had a lot of injuries, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marouane-Fellaini-c24295 were in form, so it was a push for me to get in that side.”
“But when the champions come knocking, it’s hard to refuse.”

Even though he is enjoying life at the club, he still admitted that he found it very hard to adjust to the new training methods that Manchester City used, since he spent so much time playing for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019. He did however go on to add that the standards of training
that City use are phenomenal, and really help get the best out of all the players.
“It has been hard to adjust. I was at Everton from the age seven," he continued.

“Being there 14 years meant any move was going to be big. The methods and styles are very different. The respective managers are very different.”
“The standard of training is amazing.”
Rodwell has not yet established himself as a first team player at the club, but based on what he is saying, should he continue to train to the best of his abilities and impress in the short stints that he gets in the starting eleven, he could eventually
become a regular member of the first eleven.
