When your too busy arranging for your celebrity friends to be in your players box, you can't have your mind on the job. I'm sure Roger Federer didn't meet Gwen Stefani at a swiss tennis school.

  1. he wasn't concentrated that much on winning, he needed to keep his eye on the prize and not mentally collapse. if he did this, he would have made the record of 6 wimbledons in a row.

  2. he was tense whole match

  3. You don't know competition.

Roger was more focused on the win than thing else. GS is just Madonna lite,lite,lite.....gone.

  4. See, I think it was the opposite. During the first two sets, which were 4-6, 4-6 for him, I think he was OVERTHINKING. He was analyzing Nadal's movements too much and probably had a few thoughts of this year's French Open.

The first rain delay helped him calm down, relax, and focus on this match. And it aggravated Nadal, who already felt he was so close to winning.

The second rain delay brought back Nadal's spirit which is why it ended up being so hard for either man to really get the edge on the other. It really seemed to come down to heart and endurance.

  5. Dont be soooo ridiculous. This question is ubsurd. Roger would kick your a s s if he saw you posted this question !!! haha Roger played amazing tennis but Rafa was just the better player who deserved to win thats why he lost nothing to do with his concentration levels. I mean omg the #1 in the world who`s been in lots and lots of grand slam finals knows he needs to concentrate 100% in matches like these. !!! Your just a sore loser because ur precious fed didnt win.

  6. He was actually outplayed. Nadal had mishits in the 4th set with 3 break points which would have given him the break of serve.

  7. no i think he lost because nadal is just better than him now and hes too old

  8. That's really insulting, especially considering the phenomenal tennis he played on Sunday.

  9. Nadal was just the better player on that match.

Now, about his celebrity friends, I also dont think they are that close, them living hectic celebrity lives and all.  He doesnt have a coach, so he just has his parents and gf to fill his box.  And the Rossdales are the closest friends he's got, which kinda makes me sad, for reasons unknown.

Nadal, on the other hand, couldnt even fit his sister (who I read was also in Wimbledon) in his box.  He's got so many people supporting him - trainers, prince, princess, etc.  I bet if given the chance, he'll put all his family in his box on that evening.

    I guess it's lonely being #1.

  10. federer's mind was all there the better man nadal came out on top that's all end of discussion he lost i wonder if he and the girlfriend cried after.

  11. Does saving 2 match points in the 4th set tb sound like non-focus to you? Hmm, ok. So what is your definition of focus?

  12. Anyone blaming girlfriends smile, gavin's eyes and gwen nose are looking for lame excuses.

Gavin and Roger has been friends for a very long time and not since yesterday, just around the same time he met his girlfriend actually.

He lost wimbledon yesterday because the opponent was better, and not that Federer was bad. He didnt lose 6-0 6-0 6-0, ........a person is a champion even if he/she just made it to the finals of any event.

Roger Federer is not an excuse. He is a legend that people will remember long after his era is over.

Yesterday Rafa outshone him. Thats all. Roger needs no excuses like Andy Murray.

    A proud Rafael Nadal fan
