Roger Mayweather: Manny Pacquiao does not stand any chance against Floyd Mayweather – Boxing news
The Black Mamba, Roger Mayweather, has claimed the eight-division world champion and the current World Boxing Organisation World Welterweight Champion (Super Champion), Manny Pacquiao, does not have a chance of winning against his nephew, Floyd Mayweather,
who is a five-division world champion and the current World Boxing Association World Welterweight Champion.
The Fighting Pride of Philippines, Pacquiao, recently secured a much-controversial 12-round majority decision over the Mexican Dinamita, Juan Manuel Marquez, in their highly anticipated trilogy bout at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Roger thinks
if Pacquiao would have fought his nephew the same way, he would have certainly lost.
Roger, who won two world titles in two different weight classes during his career, insisted it was Marquez who won the fight and there were no doubts about it.
Roger told Eastsideboxing.com, “Marquez beat the h**l out of Pacquiao! It was hands down! Nobody can even dispute it in no kind of way, form, or fashion! All they’re doing is wrecking boxing. I’m telling your right now, if he fights little Floyd like that,
you can forget it. It’s over.”
The undefeated American legend, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather and Pacquiao have never met in the ring due to their dispute over blood testing. Though Pacquiao later on agreed for the Olympic-style blood testing, Roger believes the Filipino star will be exposed
if he gives the test.
Roger added, “He [Pacquiao] ain’t going to be able to do sh** with my nephew [Mayweather Jr], period. Especially when they make him take that test, when they make him take that test he’s going to get his a** whopped. That’s it. It’s going to be a mismatch
anyway.”
The American superstar, Mayweather, who holds a perfect record of winning all of his 42 professional fights, including 26 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, has plans to fight again on May 5, 2012.
He wants to fight Pacquiao this time. However, Pacquiao’s promoter, Bob Arum, instead of setting up a super-fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao, wants his man to fight Marquez for a fourth time.
