Roger Mayweather says Amir Khan is on steroids, Zab Judah will beat him – Boxing news
The Black Mamba, Roger Mayweather, who is widely known as one of the most outspoken personalities in the sport of boxing has claimed that the current WBA World super lightweight champion Amir Khan is on steroids.
The Mayweather clan members recently said the same about the Fighting Pride of Philippines, Manny Pacquiao and now a similar statement has been passed for Khan.
The 50-year-old Roger stated Khan is only a good fighter because he uses steroids like Manny Pacquiao, who is an eight-division world champion. Roger claimed he gets all the news from Pacquiao’s camp and that why he knows Khan uses steroids.
Roger remarked, “The only reason Amir Khan has become the fighter he is, is because he’s got those steroids in his a*s too. The same thing Pacquiao’s got in him. I know because those motherf**kers told me,” Roger retorted.
“Motherf**kers from Pacquiao’s camp, that’s who. I talk to them dudes all the time,” he said.
Amir ‘King’ Khan and Zab ‘Super’ Judah are both set to meet this weekend on July 23, 2011 in a unification bout at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Though this fight will be held in Judah’s native country, the 33-year-old American pugilist will enter this fight as an underdog. However, Roger Mayweather thinks Judah will outclass Khan on the fight night.
Roger, who also trains his nephew Floyd Mayweather (a five-division world champion), reckons Judah has more skills than the 24-year-old Bolton belter, Khan, as he thinks Judah has fought much better fighters than Khan.
“Oh I think Zab should beat Amir Khan,” Roger said without hesitation. “He has more skill, he’s a veteran. He done fought the best fighters in the world. Who has Amir Khan beat? He aint beat no real name fighters.”
Khan has won 25 of his 26 professional fights including 17 by the way of a knockout. However let’s see if Judah can really shrug off Khan this Saturday or not.
