i am lobbying Wilson to give Roger a new 95 or 98 sq. in. racket.

i follow Roger's career and his increasing number of miss hits worry me. i am a big fan, the old 89 sq.in. prob. good for the younger Roger, but i think Roger need more arsenal at the age of 27.

No disrespect, every one else take advantage of the larger head, Nadal, Novak, etc. why should Roger stuck with the old 89 sq.in.?

I am sure Wilson is capable of develop a 95 or 98 racket meet all Roger's needs! the power, the control and the touch.

I used to be in the racket industry, I know if Roger can get used to a larger head racket, Roger can have another 5 good years.

the larger head will give him more pop on his shots and more forgiving (less shanks).

What do you think? what is his agent's #? :-)

  1. umm...maybe it's what he prefers. yeah he's sponsored by wilson but they can't force him to use equipment he doesn't like. also, hasn't he been the one helping wilson out in designing some of these racquets?

  2. You should go to Federer's website, just type in Roger Federer, and then send an email expressing your concern. You could additionally wirte a letter to wilson.

  3. BTW, his current racquet in 90 sq in. I agree his antique racquet is due to be changed. Wilson would have no problem developing a larger one for him. He also needs a rest (had mono recently) and some hypnosis as he has also lost some confidence.

  4. I doubt his agent or sponsor company tell him what racquet head size to use. I'm pretty sure they don't even tell him what racquet to use; I'm sure you've heard of a paint job.

Plus, the guy's still the second best player in the world ... you all act like he's fallen of the face of the earth.

Good luck with your "petition" though :)
