Rogers Text Messaging From Hawaii To Canada?

I'm from Canada but I'm on vacation in Hawaii right now. I read somehwere that it's the same cost to text anywhere in north america to anywhere else in north america as it is to text my friend across the classroom back home.

I have the 2500 txts plan (cuz im a textaholic) and last time I checked, Hawaii and Mexico were part of North America. I got charged 60 cents a text in Mexico. I was there for a week. I'd say about..... 20-50 texts a day. Do the math, not cool.

I asked if they had an international plan or something and they told me that it was only from north america out of north america. But that's not how it's worded on their website. And Mexico and Hawaii are STILL North America.

I'm super confused... can anyone shed some light?

I would check with Rogers your provider, but genarelly yes Hawaii is a state and has the same cell coverage plans as the rest of the US.
