Rogue Reporter looking to break shackles in Thakeham Homes Lingfield Handicap (Div I)
It is high time for Rogue Reporter to step up and fight for his maiden victory in the Thakeham Homes Lingfield Handicap (Div I) at Lingfield in England on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. He has appeared in quite a few events until now, but us yet to taste
success in any of them.
Today is a great chance for the young runner to break the shackles, despite the fact that things will not be easy for him. However, he will need to be focussed from the start until the end in order to make his team proud.
A total of 12 runners have been attracted towards the class-6 contest, which is scheduled to kick off at 13:30 GMT. All of them will be fighting extremely hard in order to bag a cash prize of £1,704.
However, things will not be easy for any of them, as they will have to be quick from the start until the end in the 1 mile long competition. At the moment, none of the participants will be worried about the track conditions, which have been described as
standard by the organisers.
This could change though, as rain is expected before the start of action in the race. The spectators will definitely not enjoy this situation and they will be hoping for a dry day of racing.
Most of the stallions, lined up for action in the race, have been out of form for quite some time, thus it will not be easy for them to find solid form straight away. Despite that, they will be looking forward to giving their best at the end of the day.
Cativo Cavallino has managed to get the attention of the bookmakers, as he has been given the highest odds for victory. He has got a lot of experience and will be looking to make the most of it today.
However, Rogue Reporter will not make life easy for the veteran runner, as he too is desperate for a victory. He found some form last time around, securing the runner up spot after a close battle with the race winner.
Therefore, the Stuart Williams’ trainee will get the attention of the punters today. His partner will be jockey, Adam Kirby.
