The 22-year-old marked his professional debut with Team Jayco-Skins in 2010 and joined Team Rabobank after spending a period of one year.
His term with Team Rabobank came to an end after the Australian decided to rejoin his previous side, Team Jayco-AIS for the 2012 season.
Dennis is having a terrific season and has several victories in his bag during the first half of the season including the Under23 National Road Race and Time Trial Championships.

He told Cyclingnews, "It started at the Tour Down Under and I posted some good results there”.
“Then I moved onto the track and gave it 100 per cent but that got my name out there and started to set things up".
"There are a few reasons why I chose Garmin but Allan Peiper's record with neo-pros is outstanding.
“He knows how we work and it's just the best place for my development. He's an exceptional DS and it's a privilege to be underneath his wing for the next few years".
Team Garmin-Sharp’s Sports Director Allan Peiper noted that Rohan is one of the finest cyclists when it comes to sprinting or climbing and he is pleased to have him on board.
Rohan’s move to road cycling will definitely brought an end to his track career as he admitted himself that he is ready to devote his full concentration towards the road cycling.
