Rohit Sharma can become the greatest ever Indian cricketer, says Shane Warne
Former Australian leg-spinner and the captain of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/RG-Sharma-c2309, has the potential to become the greatest cricketer India has ever produced.
This is an extra-ordinary compliment by Warne considering the fact that India has produced a number of legends in the sport like http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Anil-Kumble-c44737.
Warne said that Rohit is immensely talented and it’s all about working on his mental side. He feels that the right hander can become a true match-winner for India and one of the best cricketers produced by this huge population.
"Rohit Sharma has got all the talent in the world, if he could just get his mind right and get his attitude right. He could be a match-winner, world beater and one of the best Indian cricketers ever, he has got that much talent," said Warne.
Sharma is currently representing http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SL-Malinga-c2540 and
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Andrew-Symonds-c44611 also play for the same franchise.
Warne added that it is a great opportunity for Rohit to take as much advice as possible from the batting maestro http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SR-Tendulkar-c2556. Leg spinner said that Rohit should spend maximum time with Tendulkar and should take little-masters help in adjusting to different
conditions.
He added, "If his (Sharma) one thought was 'I want to become the best cricketer I possibly can'. Every morning he woke up and try and talk to Sachin and ask him 'Sir, if I could have lunch or dinner, How do you think about batting? How do you approach it in
these conditions?”
24 years old Sharma has so far played 61 One Day Internationals for his country but has not succeeded in cementing his place in the Indian lineup as he is averaging only 27.13 runs per innings, although he has shown glimpses of his talent at the international
level at times.
