Rok Straus on trial with Watford
Slovenian midfield player Rok Straus has confirmed that he has been granted a one-week trial with Championship side Watford.
The 23-year-old was once part of Italian giants Inter Milan and is now looking to revitalise his career in England. He says he will do everything possible to earn a long-term contract with the club at
some point in the near future.

"It is true, I'm in England at the moment.
I'm on trial at Watford. I have been here since Monday and today (Tuesday) I finished my first training session with the team," Straus told
Nogomania.
Straus does not seem naive enough to think that impressing on a trial will be easy. He admitted that Watford is one of the big Championship sides and he respects the club's
ambition as they have previously been in the Premier League.
The ins and outs of Watford will also be different for the Slovenian who currently plays for Celje. This should inspire the player to train as hard as possible and do everything
he can over the rest of the week.
"My first impressions are very good, it is clear that Watford is a big, well
organised club. Watford and Celje agreed for me to come on trial. I came to England because I'm sure I can improve as a player," he added.
The timing of the trial also seems sensible because it allows Watford to weigh up all options before the January transfer window. If manager Malky Mackay thinks that midfield
is an area that can be improved then the club already has access to a good player.
"I hope for the best, but I know a transfer is still a long way off.
But I will try my best to convince Watford," he said.
Betting advice
The arrival or possible signature of this player is not vitally connected to the success of the team right now. Watford is in 13th place in the Championship table, well
poised for an assault on the play-offs. Have a small bet on them to go up via this route.
