  1. Rafael Nadal will win Roland Garros again, he is still going strong and he is after all, the king of clay!

    vamos rafa..

  2. It should be exciting. It will probably be another show down. I hope Roger wins Roland Garos, but I hope its against Nadal, otherwise detractors will say, "yeah, but he can't win against Nadal."

Roger is the ONLY one who beat Nadal in 100 games.

  3. I'd love to say Federer but I get a bad feeling he will come up short at the French once again. If he manages to get to the final and doesn't have to face Nadal, he could easily win but , if  he has to play NadaI, think Rog will be out of luck. The problem is, he doesn't really play clay-court tennis. He somehow manages to make his hard-court game work on the red stuff. That is good enough against most opponents but sadly it doesn't get the job done against Rafa.

  4. Federer has been in the final the last 2 times (maybe more?), so his chances are very good. He also put up a great fight and the RG was very close last year. The closest he's come to winning, to date.

Hopefully Roger will win this year.  I so much want to see someone break all the records. All of them! And he's such a nice guy so I hope he can do it.

  5. the fed is in a serious slump right now. 2008 is an off year for the fed, he will likely not win a single slam this year.

all the other players are hungry and gunning for the world #1, so looks like the fed will lose his top ranking this year.

  6. Even though I want Federer to win, it's probably going to be Nadal.

  7. There is many money on both of these and I will hope for Rogi.  Roland Garos always has the surprise for you, we will find out, this year so different every thing is all inverted with who wins and not wins. I will pick Rogi.

  8. Roger stands a good chance. Either way, it should be a helluva tournie.

  9. NADAL FOR SURE!

  10. Nadal hands down

I wouldn't be surprised if Roger is out before QuarterFinals

  11. You can't go against tradition...Rafa.

  12. I think Nadal.  I'd love to see Federer pick himself up a bit though.

  13. Well you do know there are other players!? Nadal is a massive favourite in any clay court tourny because he is the best ever on clay.

  14. NADAL!

  15. Nadal.

  16. can't go against Nadal at the French Open. I'd give Fed a shot 2..why not. But my money is on Rafael :-)

  17. I hope they get to the finals, and Roger Federer will win!

  18. Rafael Nadal...

  19. Fedex for sure!!

    I hope he does!

  20. Federer

  21. Nadal.  Federer is falling like a lead balloon.  I don't even think that Federer will get to the finals.  I say it is Ferrer, I know he is a sleeper but he can dominate on clay just like Nadal but Nadal's experience will guarantee a win for Nadal.

(I don't think Federer will win Wimbledon either.)

  22. Federer = Roland Garros 08 champion.

  23. I am sure winning the French Open is on the top on the list of Roger's priorities too and that is one of the reasons why he hired Jose Higueras. Rafa is a strong favourite for FO, but Roger is the only player who can beat him for that title. Roger needs to believe in himself that he can do it,and play a perfect match against Rafa to beat him. Go Rogi !

  24. Well it will be Nadal for sure. Federer lost to Nadal in Monte Carlo for thr 3rd or 4th time. In this match he made 44 unforce errors. So it make sense for nadal to win , since he is the king of clay and roland garros. These two played great in the 06-07' finals but it was Nadal who prevailed. Federer just cant beat Nadal on clay.

  25. nadal

  26. Well, Nadal is playing really well. Federer not so good. I think mabye that Nadal will win. I just watched his match today vs Ferrer and he was so so good. He won 2 major titles in a row. Wow!

  27. Nadal once again will dominate the clay.  Federer will suffer the same fate Lendl faced at Wimbledon.  He won't win it.

  28. Federer.

By the time the French Open rolls around Federer will have the definite motivation and drive to make a serious run because there have been so many people talking down on him because of how he started the season off. He'll want to go out there and play his heart out on that red clay at Roland Garros and let his racket talk for him and just leave it out there on the court. All this "the king is dead" c**p will have gotten into his thoughts and he'll be completely focused and ready to get down to business. The French Open is where the King will reinstate his order and I cannot wait to see it.

  29. If it is clay, Nadal will win.  If it is hard court, depend on if Roger play good or not in that game.
