Question:

Role models? examples? heroism?

sure there are the boys in blue, the fire men, doctors, good parents, social workers, and people like that, but i mean for a teenager? or in humans in general? where are our role models? im not really sure what im asking, or what im hoping for... but what are some thoughts? who do YOU personally look at and call a hero? im just curious i guess.

  1. I looked up to my step father as my hero most of my young life, until he died. Ideally I believe that is who our role models should be, although it is becoming more and more common that it doesn't work out that way for many reasons.


  2. i guess you could say.. i have more that one role models probably gonna have to say Gandhi just because of how powerful your word can be w/o using violence, next sir Francis drake because it shows you that even when you have nothing in your life you can make something out of yourself if you try and persevere. and finally Charles Darwin for the simple reason of he though outside of society confinement and believe that there were other reason due to humanity being on earth even when other people called his ideas absurd and ridiculous he still kept strong to them

  3. i don't think a role model needs to be a doctor, lawyer or someone in some kind of profession.....i role model could be anyone, who u think is different from whole world, who is doing something really nice for all creatures (not only human being).......its my point of view, and i think my parents as my role model b'coz i learned a lot of things from them. secondly, i would call a doctor hero, whos working for free.......bt i know nobody does........
