  1. Try this instead.

I like Taco night. I do it a bit differently to make it fun for everyone. I use Wonton Wraps. I pre-bake these in a muffin tin to form little bowls. There are 60 to a pack and I can get 50 out of two pounds of ground beef, ground chicken, ground turkey or sausage if you like.

Once you have pre-baked all the wraps into little bowls place them on a large cookie sheet.

Brown two pounds of ground beef (or your choice) with one large sweet onion. Drain. Add two packets of dry Ranch Dressing Mix. Stir in well. Spoon this mixture into your cups and top them with grated cheddar cheese. Place them back in the oven to melt the cheese.

Toppings can range from salsa, sour cream, chopped tomatoes, chopped green onions shredded lettuce or whatever you desire. You can also add sweet corn to the meat mixture and get an extra vegetable in.

That and a side salad is a meal and a fun one.

NOTE: WonTon wraps are on the produce isle of most grocery stores hanging next to the Tofu and Egg Roll Wraps.
