Question:

Roller Coaster Theme?

For school we have to build a mini gravity powered roller coaster, but I can't think of a theme. Any ideas? Doesn't matter what, as long as it's school friendly (duh.)

  1. Fire?

    The human body?

    Heaven to h**l?

Elevator (I think that already is a ride!)

Have fun, I don't get fun school projects like this. :)

  2. falling coaster?????????????????????????????????...

  3. Okay... building off the 'Space Pirates' idea.

I assume the ride would be in some form of theme park, in which case the Space theme could be extended out to a zone of the park, if not the park itself.

If this is a freefall gravity powered coaster, in space black holes cause large amounts of gravitational force, so a name like 'Singularity' could go down well. Or just plain 'Black Hole', but I already know of a few rides called Black Hole. And a water slide.

If you're there is going to be a big free fall drop with lots of g force astonauts (or, if you really want to include them, space pirates) will obviously deal with similar situations on take off and landing. So maybe if you built off that and called it 'Re-entry' or 'Launch'.

If you go down the first route then the theme for the ride advertisement as well as the queue system and station would be generally space themed - include supernovas and black holes. For the second route something more space station-esque would be more appropriate.

Wish I got to do school projects like this.

  4. Space

    Pirates

    Space Pirates

  5. Wild West!! Wouldn't that be cool! lol! You could have like a ride where you get wet.

  6. fire

    space ship

    superheroes (batman, etc)
