What's the name of that green roller coaster? It's one of the fastest roller coasters, not the cobra.

It goes really fast and has the steepest drop [[like 89 degrees or even 90]]

It starts with a "K" It has a weird japanese chinese kinda name.

My second question, my friend is twelve years old and she went on the goliath, the goliath was the first roller coaster she ever went! She said it's hard to breathe when it goes straight down, is that true?

best answer if you answer both my questions ^_^

  1. would it be the Kingda Ka at the Six Flags Great Adventure

  2. The "green" coaster you are talking about is called Kingda Ka, which is located at Six Flags Great Adventure. This ride is currently the tallest and fastest steel coaster in the world.

As for your second question- there are several Goliaths out there (Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Six Flags Over Georgia, to name a few) and they are each different types of rides. Therefore, I cannot give you any stats based on the information given here. However, I have never experienced trouble breathing on any ride. Just remember TO breathe and you will be fine! :)

There are a few videos on Youtube, just type in Kingda Ka. Also, you can look this coaster up on rcdb.com.

  3. Yes, Kingda Ka is the first, in New Jersey.

I'm going to guess you mean Goliath at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California, because that's the most famous one.  I've been on it many times, and it is in fact hard to breath, as well as put your hands in the air, because of the unusually high amount of G force.  This is the case at the bottom of the first hill, but more particularly near the end in a helix-like formation, where the G force reaches it's peak.  Many people have blacked out on this particular coaster as a result.  Here's a link:

However, it could partially be that perhaps your friend wasn't used to large roller coaster drops.  It's not exactly easy to breathe on any coaster dropping you from 255 feet in the air, especially if it's your first ever coaster.  Might have, shall we say, "taken her breath away."  :-)  Hope that helped!

  4. Um, first, is it the Kingda Ka?

Annd, second, I didn't get a chance to ride that ride. ):

    Hoped that helped! :]
