Roller brush doesn't move

Question

I just bought a Kirby Heritage II off of Ebay, and the roller brush isn't moving when turned on. The suction works. I have turned it on with out the roller bruch attachment on and the k**b that holds the belt so it can turn doesn't turn when I do this.
