Roller coaster designer?

hello im just curious about this i want to know exactly what would you have to major in in college if you want to be a roller coaster designer/roller coaster engineer i know it requires a bit of physics but im not sure...

  1. mechanical engineering... and it would be a lot a bit of physics... probably also requires masters degree


  2. Make sure you take alot of math and science in high school because that will help you prepare for college coursework. Courses in the physical sciences such as physics are important, as well as higher math courses. A background in electronics, engineering, math, and the physical sciences is helpful. You would be interested in majoring in mechanical engineering. Be warned, though, if you do not like math, this is not the field for you! I had a former coworker who was majoring in civic engineering(who dreamed of designing rollercoasters) and backed out because of the difficult math courses she had to take.
