  1. have you seen final destination 3? :)

  2. You have a better chance of dying in a car crash on the way to the theme park than you do on a roller coaster.

Theme park coasters (NOT traveling carnivals) are subject to very rigorous testing, and the chances of something happening -- assuming you are following all safety procedures (wearing your belt, sitting in place, not riding while pregnant or with bad back or heart conditions, etc.) -- are extremely rare.  I can recall only one incident within the last 5-10 years that was caused by the machine itself, not the rider.  And when you take into account the number of times the coasters run every day, that's pretty good.

  3. you have nothing to worry about if u follow the rules and when you are buckled up good you will be fine, because some people are stupid and fell off a coaster and killed them, some lady died from riding the Raven at holiday World because she was standing up and fell of, the only coaster that you can stand up on is a stand up coaster.

so as long as you are tall enough, follow the rules, and your restaints are locked in you will be fine, if a coaster breaks down that means something is wrong. trust me you have nothing to worry about whatever coaster you ride will make u wanna go it again.

    good luck :)

oh and go ahead whatever girl is below me, just stole another perfect answer from me :(

  4. Theme parks (just like carnivals) perform maintenance checks on roller coasters. For steel coasters, they don't check them as often because steel is much better than wooden coasters which they check daily.

Wooden coasters, things come apart from them while steel, things don't. They get on a a platform, and look at the track to see if it needs welding or not with steel coasters. They do a survey of them from the lift hill, but it's much harder to check the whole ride like a wooden coaster. That's why steel coasters usually don't have walkways during the whole ride like wooden coasters do.

I have died, or been injured any amusement park ride (roller coaster, or carnival ride) yet. I have been going to an amusement park at least since 1990. Of course, I was a little kid though, and I have been going more since a little kid. I also have have a passion for carnivals.

The reason why most accidents happen is because of the people themselves, and not because of the rides. Just stay seated, and do anything foolish. Don't try to get out of the ride when it's going!!!!
