Roller coaster tycoon 3 runtime error?

Question

i bought rollercoaster tycoon 3 platinum edition and tried loading on my pc with vista got error stating as follows

runtime error

programfiles ...........................................

adnormal program termanation anyone know how to fix it

disk is finne and really want to play

i dont know how to fix that but I absolutley love roller coaster tycoon too!!!! but i had like 3 copies of the disc ( all originals, like not homemade copies) but i lost ALLL of them!!!!!!!!!!!! aggaaaaaaaaaahahaaahaahahgagagagasagagag... i also lost my age of empires disc ( i love really good sim games!!)

this is what my husband found in a forum and it worked for him:

Please rename your original <RCT3.exe> (located in the folder C:\PROGRAM FILES\ATARI\ROLLERCOASTER TYCOON? 3) to <RCT3.old>. Then, click on the link below or copy and paste it into your web browser. This will open a blank webpage and a File Download window. From the File Download window click Open, extract the new <RCT3.exe> into the original's folder and re-start the application.
