  1. Im about the same height and weigh about 40 pounds less and use pads that are 32 inches which are a little small for me so i would suggest 34s or 36s, i would shy away from an y bigger than 36 even though it recently has been somewhat fashionable to have larger pads. Your gonna want a Senior stick for sure. As far as anything serious later in life, sorry to burst your bubble but the chances of that are exceptionally small, especially since ur starting later in ur life.

  2. terms of size 5-10 is tall so i don't think any junior stuff will fit you.

size stick. go to any place that sells sticks and pick out a regular stick that feels comfortable, you can always cut it down if it is too long. generally they say off skates the but of the stick should reach your top lip. but i know people, defence men even, that play with them shorter. their idea being that if you are forced to grab lower on the stick you will get more power in your shot. looking at the speed of the shots it is hard to argue otherwise.

this late in life. nothing is impossible, but you have a-lot of catching up to do. get on your high school team maybe a friendly league in the area and go from there.

    good luck!
