I've never had a panic attack before so I don't know what they're like.
This was my first time. It was the Gwazi at Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL. Never been on a roller coaster, I was really nervous standing in line, pacing about, mind racing. I can't believe I ended up getting on it...but I kinda just did somehow, nervous as ever.
While I was on it, there were pretty much two things going on: I broke the record for the fastest number of times the phrase "holy ****" having been said in under a minute and I also felt like I was LITERALLY TRYING not have a heart attack.
It was like I knew my heart was beating so fast and I was mentally trying to clam it down.
Soon as ever, it was over and I was fine.
So was this just your standard panic attack or was something really wrong?
I was 19 at the time, healthy, not overweight. No history of heart-related problems, minus "heart flutter" but I've heard that's a virtually harmless condition.
Should I attempt to go on another again?
