Rollercoaster tycoon 3 gold secruity guard what are they for?

Question

i was just wondering what the security guards are for. because when i hired one he was think about quiting and he said he was really bored but i don't even know what they do please tell me .. if you know..

They keep the parks safe.  If your guests get upset about something or bored, they get destructive.  The security guards are supposed to keep the guests from causing trouble and from tearing the parks up.  Just take a look around your park.  Eventually you'll start seeing broken benches and light poles.
