I&#039;m going to assume that the two dice are six sided dice.

to get a 2, you&#039;d have to roll a 1 and a 1, or 1/36 chance

To get a 3 you&#039;d have to roll a 1 and a 2 or a 2 and a 1:  2/36

to get a 4, you&#039;d have to roll a 1 and a 3 or a 3 and a 1 or a 2 and a 2, 3/36....

Continue on until you get to 9 and then add all your chances together.
