Rolling tobacco? What brand is best?

Question

I've been rolling my own cigs for about a year off and on, always Top brand (Top Light actually). My hubby used to buy Drum, but it was too gross. I don't know why, it was so fragrant like it was falsely infused or something.

Anyway, my husband says the Top is harsh on his throat and I don't know what brand to try instead.

Help? (not quitting help, thanks though for your concern...it's a dilemma.)

I always use Top but like the American Spirit brands as well. Try them out, they're very nice.

Gunner- Captain black is a pipe tobacco

i use bali shag Golden Shag (red).. bali shag really is probablly the best when it comes to consistency it never has any stems seeds or round eyes.. it taste similiar to winston/marlboro.. it works great in my table top tube machine..

i will often times mix it 50/50 with samson or bali shag halfzware shag..

it gives it a bit more depth.. i thouroghly enjoy the taste of samson but it has a bit of roundeyes (chopped up seeds).. halfzware shag is milder and in my opinion has a sweet taste....

both of these tobaccos are a little more expensive then top and drum but you get what you pay for...
