Roman Bracelet 200 $?

Okie i got a bracelet for 200 dollars and its really nice

it is marked "Roman" or at least thats what my bf believes it says

its hard to tell because its shiny and yeah lol little.

But it is gold and it has diamonds on it and he said he paid A LOT of money for it at the mall... is it Roman, was he ripped off or what? He is curious lol italian?

  1. The stamp doesn't mean the bracelet is a roman bracelet, but it is made by a person or company who have taken the name "roman" as their makers mark. A makers mark sometimes accompanies a hall mark (for silver gold , platinum) but the name mark can be stamped on anything produced in that makers name or brand.

    The number could refer to a pattern or issue number which, if it is, would be catalogued by its maker.

    It doesn't mean you have been ripped off at all but it is doubtful the mark means it is a roman piece of jewellery. Maybe the person who sold it to you can tell you more about the maker, the issue or pattern number and its date and materials, without a photo its hard to say more :-)
