So, lately I've got hooked on Anime. So far I watched Inuyasha, Kanon 2002, Honey & Clover 1 & 2, True Tears. The thing is, after I watch all of these I always end up angry in the end because the end is never satisfying. No happy ending. It keeps you questioning. I hate that lol. Is that supposed to always happen? Do you know any "good" romance anime series? I'd probably be okay with some tragedy endings too. No fantasy & stuff like that. Some thing I can watch Online, like veoh.com. Can you list any that you know? [english subbed or dubbed]

    **Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu

Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu is set at the private high school Hakujō Academy in Japan and centers around the male protagonist Yūto Ayase and his classmate Haruka Nogizaka. While Yūto is rather ordinary, Haruka is very attractive, intelligent, and rich. Due to this, she is the school's most unattainable girl and is so idolized that her classmates give her the French nicknames "Nuit Étoile" (The Silver Star of the Night) and "Lumière du Clavier" (The Shining Princess on the Piano). One day, Yūto's good friend Nobunaga Asakura asks him to return a book to the school library, and when he goes to return it, Yūto stumbles across Haruka and her darkest secret — she is a diehard fan of anime, manga, and the otaku culture. Yūto promises to keep her secret hidden and in return he becomes her confidante of sorts as he accompanies her to Akihabara, and visits her home often.

  3. Two shows that I absolutely adored were Ouran High School Host Club and Fruits Basket. Ouran is just hilarious with a hint of romance and deception between some of the characters, but it is so mild that it doesn't ruin the plot. It is just sooo funny and would recommend it to anyone who just started watching anime or just got hooked on it. Fruits Basket is sweet and cute, and although the ending is conclusive in its own way, it is not a well-rounded ending. Anyone who starts watching it and gets to the end would say to read the manga afterwards to gain a little closure but I was really happy with the anime's ending.

I can't give you anything more recent because I stopped watching anime a while back since I became too busy, but if you haven't watched those two, I highly recommend them. You won't be disappointed. :)

    Enjoy and happy anime watching.

    // Edit

Another one I forgot to mention was Peach Girl. It was cute and it ended really well. I think it is one that you are looking for right now and the ending actually sticks. No deceptions, no mixed or future endings; just a plain ole ending with the perfect romantic feeling. :)

  4. Well, If you don't like the anime, read the manga!

It's usually longer and has parts that the anime didn't include

and the ending A LOT BETTER.

and I hate when you watch an anime and then it's finished

and it didn't answer any questions!!! Like, who is she gonna end

up with?, or What happened to her?

    THAT PISSES ME OFF!!

  5. Kanon

    Air

    Love Hina

    Chobits

    DearS

    Onegai Teacher

    Rumbling Hearts

    The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

    Midori no Hibi

    Shakugan no Shana

    SHUFFLE!

  6. well i would really recommend marmalade boy and peach girl. the endings are great.

  7. Well there's

ef a tale of memories - which gives two endings since it tells two storys at once. one storys a love triangle and  the other is a simple sad romance like one (by sad romance I mean the two are trying to get together although one of them has a handicap which hinders that romance). w/o spoiling it these two relate since one girl in the love triangle and the girl in the sad romance are twin sisters.

Itazura na kiss - its a good one since one reason being gets really good halfway through the series (something which you rarely see in some romance animes).

Yoake Mae yori Ruriiro na: Crescent Love - Short but good and its ending brings a good one.

Myself; Yourself - If you ever wanted to see a great romance anime that ends good w/o having one single kiss thrown in it that's what this series does well.
