  1. Little Anthony's, right near Osgoode Station, is great; wonderful food, romantic atmosphere, and prices are reasonable (for what you get).  http://www.littleanthonysrestaurant.com/

  2. Fieramosca (italian restaurant).  Located on Prince Arthur Avenue in Toronto.  Avenue Road and Bloor.  Beautiful street and great restaurant with ambience and it won't break your wallet.

House of Chan on Eglinton Avenue West.  The best steak and lobsters.  Crab is delish.  A little pricier but really good.  It's noisier than Fieramosca.  VIBO restaurant on Bloor and Royal York.  Yummy italian and has a gentleman playing the grand piano in the middle of the restaurant.

Momo's bistro on Queensway.  Jazzy, Cajun, New Orleans style cuisine.  Absolutely yummy food.  All restaurants have a website except ViBo.

Oh!  I almost forgot...its a bit pricier but you may want to look at Trattoria Vaticano on Bellair in Yorkville.  It's not ridiculous but it's not cheap and the ambience is super romantic. (went on our anniversary last May)

  3. What about a dinner cruise?

  4. I'd go with Ultra Supper Club. More of a modern rather than romantic setting. Might also consider Scaramouche for Italian. Toronto has countless nice restaurants so really hard to suggest any. Canoe has a nice view but the hours have been wonky the last few times I've been in Toronto
